How to set up the myRaceStats iRacing Discord bot
A short, in-order checklist for setting up myRaceStats in your Discord server. Most teams are running in five minutes.
- 1
Add the bot to your Discord server
Click the invite button below. You'll need the Manage Server permission. Keep both the bot and applications.commands scopes ticked so slash commands register.
- 2
Verify the slash commands appear
In any channel, type /help. You should see the bot's commands appear in Discord's autocomplete. If they don't show up immediately, give Discord a minute or restart the client.
/helpLists every command available to you in this server.
- 3
Set who can manage the bot
By default only Discord admins can run setup commands. Pick a role for your team managers so they can configure the bot without full server admin.
/setup admin_rolePick a Discord role that can run all setup and admin commands.
- 4
Turn on basic race announcements (free)
Link your account, then enable the announcer. Free tier posts the main race card when a linked driver finishes — threads and follow-ups need Premium.
/connectLink your Scorsa account with iRacing to this server./setup results_announcerPick the channel for basic race cards.
- 5
Add your team roster (free up to 5 drivers)
Free servers can register up to 5 drivers. Premium removes the cap and unlocks weekly team reports and full announcement threads.
/manage_team addAdd a single driver by iRacing customer ID./manage_team mass_addBulk-add several drivers in one command./manage_team scan_discordMatch Discord members to iRacing accounts automatically./manage_team rosterConfirm the roster looks right.
Tip — Once Premium is active, /team quick_stats, /irating_changes, and /week become useful weekly reports. - 6
Activate Premium (optional)
Subscribe on scorsa.io, then link and activate on this server for any driver's stats, an unlimited roster, team reports, and full announcements.
/connectLink your Scorsa account./activateApply your subscription to this server./subscriptionConfirm your subscription is active.
Common questions
The slash commands aren't appearing in Discord.
Discord caches slash commands. Wait a minute, fully quit and reopen Discord, or try a different channel. Make sure the applications.commands scope was ticked when inviting.
A command says 'Premium required' — what does that mean?
Subscribe at scorsa.io, run /connect, then /activate on this server. /subscription confirms the link. Free servers get race cards, a roster of up to 5 drivers, your own driver's stats, /schedule, /championship, /weather and /iracing_news; other drivers, bigger rosters and everything else need Premium.
Some setup commands are missing for me.
Setup commands are admin-only. If you are not a Discord admin, ask the server owner to run /setup admin_role and add your role.
How do I find my iRacing customer ID?
On iracing.com, open My Account → My Profile. The number in the URL is your customer ID. Use it with /manage_team add.
The bot isn't posting race announcements.
Check that /setup results_announcer was run and points at a channel the bot can post in. Confirm the drivers are on the roster with /manage_team roster, and that they have actually finished an official race recently.
