Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
MyRaceStats is a Discord bot and accompanying website operated by Scorsa Technologies ("Scorsa"), an Australian business (scorsa.io). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. References to "we", "us", or "MyRaceStats" mean Scorsa Technologies as the operator of this service.
2. What we collect
We only collect what is needed to run the bot and the website:
- Discord identifiers — your Discord user ID, username, server (guild) IDs, channel IDs, and role IDs that the bot has been invited to. We do not store the contents of your messages.
- iRacing public data — customer IDs, driver names, race results, license info, and other data returned by the official iRacing Data API. This is the same data shown on iRacing's own member pages.
- Account & subscription data — when you sign in on the website or link a Premium subscription, we store your Scorsa account ID, email address, and subscription status.
- Server configuration — settings you (or your server admins) configure, such as announcement channels and roster mappings.
- Operational logs — short-lived request and error logs used to keep the service running. These are rotated and not used for profiling.
We do not collect Discord message content, voice data, payment card details (those are handled by our payment processor), or any data that iRacing does not already make available via its public Data API.
3. How we use it
- To run the slash commands you invoke (look up driver stats, render charts, etc.).
- To post automated announcements and race results you have configured.
- To authenticate you on the website and grant access to dashboards and Premium features.
- To diagnose errors and improve reliability.
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train third-party AI models.
4. Where data is stored
Application data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database. Generated images and chart caches are stored on the same infrastructure. Hosting is provided by reputable cloud providers; data may be processed in the European Union or the United States depending on the provider region.
5. How long we keep it
- Server configuration & rosters — kept while the bot remains in your server. When the bot is removed, related guild rows are pruned automatically on its next startup.
- Race results & announcement records — retained so we can avoid re-announcing the same race.
- Account data — kept while your account exists. Removing your account removes the associated record.
- Logs — typically retained for up to 30 days.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact [email protected]. We aim to respond within 30 days.
If you appear in iRacing public results and want your name obfuscated in charts and cards generated by MyRaceStats, email the same address with your iRacing customer ID and we will honour the request.
With a linked iRacing account you can also hide your profile yourself, any time, in privacy settings (or with /profile hide in
Discord): your name is then shown as initials to everyone but you, and only Discord servers
you are registered in see it. Your results stay in the data, and you can undo it whenever
you like.
7. Third parties
- Discord — required for the bot to function. Discord Privacy Policy.
- iRacing — source of all racing data shown by MyRaceStats. iRacing Privacy Policy.
- Payment processor — Premium subscriptions are billed through a third-party payment provider. We never see or store your card details.
- Plausible Analytics — privacy-friendly website usage statistics on public pages. Plausible Data Policy.
8. Cookies, analytics & advertising
Essential cookies keep you signed in and remember basic UI preferences.
We use Plausible Analytics on public marketing pages to understand which pages and links are used (page views, outbound clicks, and internal navigation). Plausible does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and stores aggregated statistics only.
On our public marketing pages only — never on the dashboard's private data or the Discord card images the bot generates — we also use advertising and conversion-measurement tools that may set cookies or similar identifiers, so we can measure how well our ads perform and reach people who have shown interest. These currently include Google Ads and, on some campaigns, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel.
You can opt out with your browser's cookie controls or an ad blocker, and manage ad personalisation via Google Ads Settings and your Meta ad preferences. We do not sell your personal information.
9. Children
MyRaceStats is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted on the website.
11. Contact
